Installation notes: sliding rail shower systems
Sliding rail systems are the right answer for shared bathrooms, family rooms, and accessible projects. A single fixture serves users of very different heights without a second fixing point, which is also why they survive the heaviest cleaning cycles in our range.
Rail mounting
Two fixings, top and bottom, into solid substrate. For tiled walls, mark through the supplied template and use the correct wall plug for the substrate — the rail carries the user's own weight if it is grabbed for balance, which is an expected use in accessible projects.
Rail height
Top fixing at 1950 mm from the finished floor for standard residential, 1800 mm for accessible. The slider should still travel to within 1000 mm of the floor so a seated user can reach the handset without the rail end-stop.
Hose and connection
Use the supplied PVC-reinforced hose. Anti-kink hoses are recommended where the handset is used in a seated position.
Commissioning
Run the handset at full flow to flush the hose, verify the slider moves freely along the whole rail length, and hand the user the rail lock mechanism so they understand the adjustment.
